Spirit
Roaming to new artistic horizons I decided to try yet another new medium for me.. This is my first artork made with Watercolour Inks and I must say they're tons of fun! The colour hues are vibrant and have an awesome flow.. Of course I am very new to using them so I have a long way to go but I think I will focus on this new medium and try to evolve as an artist trough it and also through new and unique theme choices for me.. So here is the first one made with only the three basic colours and white..

Pluto
So this is my second attempt to use charcoal.. I used a special kind of paper to give an old feeling to the artwork.. This artwork is inspired by a short story written by Edgar Allan Poe with the title "Black Cat".. It is one of my favourite stories from this author and is based on the last "scene' of the story.. so here is Pluto..

Elsa
It has been 6 years since my last entry here and the reason was that I went on a hiatus in terms of drawing and to be honest I did not expect to return again.. But as they say never say never so here we are... I am a bit rusty for sure but I thought I try new mediums and soar on new horizons as an artist.. So here is my first try with charcoal..

Clock Tower
Greetings. It seems I have entered once a period of inspiration and as a result I have completed another artwork today. It is a concept I had in mind to realise for some time now but due to the "dry season" I was having it is only now that I managed to pull it together and make it.
I was always fascinated by the idea of Clock Towers and I had the idea of creating an artwork with the inside of one. Here we have a vampiric creature of some sort who has kidnapped a maiden and took her to his tower in order for him to satisfy his thirst for blood and his lust for her.
Anyway this is the end result, hope you like it and feel free to comment on it as always...

Lady Of Winter
Yes, it's been what, one day? Ok maybe not one but two but you do get my point I believe. I'm back with another artwork and it is my second attempt to create an artwork purely on my pc. So this time I wanted to have a forest theme and after some consideration (and experimentation) the lady of winter came to fruition.
Again it's not cream of the crop, but it is a step up from the first aertwork in this style and in the right direction I believe. Good news with this system is that I save up valuable time and can have a quite different experience drawing. Regardless I plan on playing some more with this technique and see where can I go with it.
Finally I would like to dedicate this artwork to a certain person who has inspired me to be a better me and rekindled my inspiration...

Gargoyle
Bump. Yeah it's been ages since my last entry here, but then again it's not such a great pause as the previous one. Now what I'm putting out here is not excactly high and mighty stuff, but at this point any activity is progress and as such I will treat any andeavour as a full entry in the blog.
So onwards to the artwork itself. Up until now I created my artworks with my trusted pencil and I would then use the pc in order to apply colour and finish it. As some of you already know there are artists who make their artworks entirely on their pc without the usage of any tradional mediums. Well today I thought I'd give it a try and see for myself what can be done by me in this style.
Granted it's a simple piece of art but I did not want to delve to deep in a first try and instead opted to play with a simple theme. So the result is the artwork below and it is entirely made on my pc. Don't know if I'll use this way of drawing again in the future but I sure had fun making this...

Futureal - Revamped
Greetings. It's been almost a year since the last time I gave signs of life on my blog and I must admit it was a dry season so to speak artistically for me. Most of my energy went to my miniature hobby and to entertainment very much needed. Anyway in the last days I had some of my artworks printed in a special way in order for me to put them in my house like paintings... after the first batch and more browsing I took a good look an old artwork I had created, Futureal.
For some time now I had the impression that something was amiss, but I couldn't put my finger on it. Given the occasion I took the time to really inspect the whole artwork and came to the conclusion it was the mouth. It was not feminine enough and it was not positioned in the right place. On top of that the whole artwork seemed awkward and the focal point was not delivered on the viewer. Thus I decided to remedy all these things and went back to the drawing paper and made new lips. With a bit of digital magic and a couple of hours later I was done. The result in my opinion is ages away better than the original effort.

Exaltation
Greetings. Again it's been
some time since my last entry, but there were several reasons for the
delay... Anyway this is my latest finished artwork. It follows the
style of my latest work but at the same time it is a step forward
towards evolution.
The title is “Exaltation”
and I wanted to confer this feeling on the focal point of the artwork
which is the angelic being ascending to the sky. The setting is in a
distant (or not so distant) future where an apocalyptic event occurs
(what exactly I will leave to your imagination); hence the use of the
crimson/red theme. I always thought that is such an event celestial beings such as her would be present. Several religions and cults have claimed an impending ending to the world as we know it, realised in various different ways and from various different views. This is how such an event would come to be; in my mind at least.
From a technical point of
view in this artwork I worked on the background as much (if not more) as on
the character. Compared to my other digital artworks this is by far
the one I have spent the most time working on. About seven or eight
separate sketches were drawn in order for the composition to be
complete. All in all I feel this is my best digital work so far...
